Aberdeen Forward runs a variety of different workshops available for individuals and groups.

Some of the workshops currently being run by Aberdeen Forward include:

Upholstery
Re-vamp your old furniture by learning how to re-upholster.
This workshop will teach you the basics of upholstery and runs for a period of 10 weeks. £100 for members of Aberdeen Forward and £150 for non members.

Crafts
Tap into your creative side be coming along to one of our crafts workshops.
Lots of choice from rag rugging to knit and knatter, sewing and card making.

Gardening
Learn the basics about gardening and get some useful tips to help make your garden beautiful and help you manage it efficiently and cost effectively.

Back to Basics Sewing
This 6 week course covers sewing from the start beginning with how to thread a sewing machine and progressing to dealing with zips, hemming and over locking. Make cushions, curtains and clothes. Use our sewing machine or take your own. £60 for members and £75 for non members
Thursday nights 6 – 8pm
Wednesday mornings 10am – 12noon

Knit & Natter
Learn how to knit in an informal setting. Tuesday 6th October – Tuesday 15th December, 10am – 12noon. £50 for members or £65 for non members

School Workshops
These outreach workshops are available to all primary schools around the North East. Topics include pollution and conservation, food, endangered animals and tartan. Create wall hangings, class albums or masks out of waste materials from the Creative Waste Exchange. £30 for members or £50 for non members.
Workshops last 2 hours, maximum number of pupils 33.
