Transition Aberdeen is co-ordinated by Aberdeen Forward and has been funded by the Climate Challenge Fund. The Transition Project is part of the national initiative, Transition Towns. It’s a community led project that raises awareness of peak oil and climate change and related issues.
Transition Aberdeen has been set up to combat this locally. We are taking positive steps in the city to reduce people’s carbon footprint and their dependency on oil. From food production and composting to community energy training and reuse workshops, Transition Aberdeen will show how these small actions can have a positive effect on your local environment.
